This chicken bacon ranch sliders recipe makes for one perfect meal.  The savoriness of the chicken and melted cheese along with the kick from the Jalapeno Ranch seasoning work well together.  Mix up the cheese to your preference or use ranch seasoning to avoid the heat.  Simple and easy, it’s a great summer sandwich.

Step 1: Everything is better with bacon.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders ingredients

To get started, first season the chicken.  I used boneless chicken thighs as they are fattier which makes them more flavorful and tender.  You can substitute with sliced or pounded chicken breast.  Season both sides of the chicken with the Jalapeno Ranch seasoning and set aside to allow the rub to absorb into the meat.

Next, preheat the griddle to a medium heat and place bacon strips on the flat top.  Getting the bacon on first will allow us to cook the chicken in the flavorful bacon grease.  Estimate 1 strip of bacon per slider.

Must have grillin seasonings!

Step 2: Time to grill up the chicken bacon ranch sliders.

Next, place the seasoned chicken thighs on the flat top in the bacon grease.  Cook 2-3 minutes per side until the internal temp reaches 160 degrees.  Next, place a slice of cheese over each chicken piece and let it melt. Remove the chicken melts off the griddle once the internal temperature reaches 175 degrees.

Toast up the slider buns for an extra crunch.

To assemble the chicken bacon ranch sliders, start with a light layer of ranch dressing, followed by  lettuce for some crunch, next the perfectly cooked cheesy chicken, a few slices of bacon and enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I make this in the oven or stove top?

All my recipes can be replicated in the oven, stove top or gas grill. You do not need a big green egg or weber grill to replicate any of my recipes.

Can I use chicken breast instead?

Yes, any chicken thigh recipe can be replaced with the breast. The breast is leaner than the thighs, therefore remove the meat at 160 degrees and let it rest. This will ensure a tender and juicy chicken breast.
