This recipe only consists of meat and veggies, but you can always add some rice for a full meal and some carbs.

Dad’s Seasonings

Must have grillin seasonings!

Brown the beef

For this Beef Egg Roll Bowl I went with beef as the protein. Ground pork in another great alternative and for an even healthier option, use ground turkey – my wife really likes this option.

I used my griddle to make this recipe, but a skillet over the stove top will work perfectly.

Pre-heat the grill to a medium heat around 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Add some oil to the surface and let it warm up.

Place the ground beef brick on the hot surface and let the bottom sear for 2-3 minutes before flipping. Repeat on the other side.

cooked ground beef and veggies on griddle.

Start breaking down the ground beef and cook until the there is not pink meat.

If you are using the griddle, add the shredded cabbage, carrots and onion on the other side. Over low heat, let it soften. Mix the beef and veggies together.

If you are using a skillet over the stove top, add the veggies over the meat and mix. Cook until the cabbage is semi soft.

Add in the sauces

Believe it or not, but this quick and easy Beef Egg Roll Bowl recipe is almost ready!

For some flavor add ginger paste, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar. Mix everything together and give it a taste test. Add more soy sauce if it needs salt, more rice vinegar if it needs more acidity.

Serving Suggestions

Personally, I like mine with a drizzle of Bachan’s Sauce, some toasted sesame seeds and freshly chopped green onion.

Rice is a great addition to this egg roll bowl recipe for carbs and a full meal.

For some heat, drizzle some chili crunch over the top or add sriracha sauce.

Healthier options include:
  • Cauliflower rice
  • Zucchini noodles
  • Lettuce wraps

This is a tasty recipe and so easy to cook! I like a lot of meat in my recipe so I cooked almost two pounds of ground turkey in mine. I also added white pepper because my wife and I like our food with a little kick!
