Thai cuisine has so much amazing flavors in each dish.  I try to use these ingredients in my recipes whenever I can.  This time I made Thai inspired pork skewers.  The burst of lemongrass and cilantro flavors from the Thai seasoning paste and the kick from the new Tabasco Sriracha Sauce elevated this simple pork dish to something out of this world! This is a perfect party appetizer, snack or dinner served with rice.  A must try!

It’s all in the Thai seasoning.

In a mixing bowl, add ground pork, Thai seasoning stir in paste, sriracha, egg and panko.  Mix in the ingredients well together.  Add more panko if the meat mixture is not firm enough.

Next, using metal skewers, grab a handful of the seasoned ground pork and mold it around the skewer forming a sausage like shape.  Make sure the meat holds tightly to the metal.

Dad’s Seasonings

Must have grillin seasonings!

Time to grill the Thai inspired pork skewers.

Heat up the Big Green Egg or any grill to high heat at 450 degrees.  Place the seasoned pork skewers on the grates for direct heat.  Cook for about 10-15 minutes or until the the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees.  Be sure to flip the skewers every minute to get an even cook throughout and nice char marks.

When done, remove the Thai inspired pork skewers off the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.  Drizzle some sweet Thai sauce and sprinkle some chopped up cilantro and enjoy!
