Spicy Chicken Skewers

Are you always pressed for time, running around between work, kids after school activities and well, just life? Last minute dinner scramble sound familiar?  I have the perfect quick and easy summer recipe that everyone will enjoy! Look no further than these spicy chicken skewers!

For this recipe I used boneless skinless chicken breast, but you can use any cut of chicken you’d like. For the glaze, I used TABASCO® BBQ Sauce. It’s a great way of adding some flavor and extra spice to any dish.

Start by cubing up your chicken. It’s important to get the pieces roughly the same size so the chicken will cook evenly. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika.

Next, cut up the bell peppers, zucchini, grape tomatoes and skewer everything with the chicken. The skewers then hit the grill, over direct medium-high heat, about 350-400 degrees.

Brush the TABASCO® BBQ Sauce on the skewers on all sides and continue cooking until the chicken reaches 165 degrees internal temperature. The sauce should start to caramelize on the outside and create a delicious crust on the chicken and veggies. Pull the spicy chicken skewers off the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Serve and Enjoy!
