If you are looking for a quick and easy dinner solution then these grilled lobster skewers are the answer!  The perfectly grilled lobster meat brushed in a lemon and parmesan butter sauce make for a rich and decadent treat everyone will enjoy.  I get it, it’s expensive, but look for special deals at your local grocery store.  I know at my local Mariano’s they frequently have 2 for $10 deal.

Step 1: Prepare the lobster skewer.

Lobster Tails

Lobster meat is very delicate.  It is very easy to over cook this expensive protein.

Start by cutting down the middle of the shell.  Separate and remove from the meat only leaving the tail attached.

Using 2 skewers, punch them through on tail end to keep the lobster sturdy.  I highly recommend using metal skewers vs. wooden.

Recipe Tip

  • If your only option is wood, then soak them in water for 10-15 minutes before putting on the grill.

Season with lemon pepper seasoning and set aside while you get the grill going.

Dad’s Seasonings

Must have grillin seasonings!

Step 2: How to perfectly grill lobster skewers.

Preheat the grill to a high 450 degrees and set for direct heat.

Lemon Parmesan Butter Sauce

First place a small cast iron sauce pan on the grill to get your dipping butter ready.  Add 1 stick of butter, garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, freshly shredded parmesan and chopped parsley.  Mix the ingredients over high heat allowing for the butter to melt.

Next, place the skewered and seasoned lobster tails on the grates and grill 2 minutes per side. At the end, brush some of the lemon parmesan butter over the grilled lobster skewers for the final chefs kiss.  Enjoy!
