This quick and easy pepper beef stir fry is perfect as a weeknight meal. Savory, tender, crunchy and peppery, top it over some rice and enjoy.

Step 1: Chop up the veggies first

If you are using the same cutting board, chop up the veggies first. Saves on time and cleaning.

Start by cutting up a yellow and red bell pepper along with half a yellow onion. Feel free to use which ever color bell pepper you like here.

Dad’s Seasonings

Must have grillin seasonings!

Step 2: Prepare the beef marinade.

To get the beef nice and tender and full of flavor, make this quick soy based marinade.

In a mixing bowl, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, Bachan’s sauce, corn starch and a lot of black pepper.

I used pre sliced stir fry beef strips. Most grocery stores have these in the meat cases. If not, pick your beef of choice and slice it into thin strips.

Start by slicing the strips in half for an easy bite and drop the beef into the marinade. Make sure all pieces are covered. Place the marinated beef in the fridge for at least 30 minutes but if pressed for time, let it sit for a few minutes to allow the beef to absorb some of the marinade flavors.

Step 3: Time to grill up the pepper beef stir fry.

Preheat the grill to a high heat and set for indirect heat if you are not using a griddle.

First, place the chopped veggies on the heated flat top. Season with Dad’s All Purpose seasoning for additional flavor. Toss them around to evenly grill them up.

Next, drop the marinated beef strips next to the veggies and spread them apart making sure each strip is getting a nice char. Continuously flip them hibachi style. Start mixing the beef and veggies together. Add minced garlic to the mix and continue cooking until the beef is done.

Top the pepper beef stir fry over some freshly cooked rice and enjoy!
