Brown butter and honey salmon.

I’ve been on a honey kick lately lol. Been adding it to almost everything. How about some salmon?

Beautiful piece of salmon from @salmonandsable was seasoned with salt and pepper before hitting the @biggreenegg . While the salmon was grilling, I made the brown butter glaze/sauce. In a small pot, melt 1 stick of butter and get it browned up. Add about 2 tbsp of honey and the juice of 1 lime (all I had was the bottled stuff). .

Grill the salmon until 130 internal or so, and then top with the brown butter sauce. Watch out, it will flare up on the grill. .
.
I must say, this was tasty. This salmon can stand on its own but adding the buttery sweet glaze at the end just put it over the top.

Honey garlic chicken skewers.

Cubed up chicken breast, skewered and seasoned with @meatchurch Holy Voodoo, and grilled over charcoal on the @biggreenegg . Then glazed with a honey garlic sauce (recipe below).
.
This was a good one. Loved that sauce on the chicken.
.
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic - 1 tbsp soy sauce - 2 tbsp rice or apple cider vinegar
Mix and simmer over low heat until it starts to thicken.

Let’s finish up this green machine pesto chicken.

After marinating for a few hours, the bird hit the @biggreenegg at 350 degrees indirect. After about 30 minutes I moved them to the direct side to get some color and char. Flipped them a few times and they were ready. Total cook time was around 40-45 minutes or so. Full prep and ingredients are in my last post. .
.
Served with some brown rice and few ribeye slices from @44farms . Bird and turf was tasty. .
.
And a big thanks to everyone that was grilling yesterday and tagging me in your stories. With everything that’s happening now it was awesome to see everyone come together and have a good time by the grill. .
