Peach and Whiskey Chicken Skewers
These peach and whiskey chicken skewers are the perfect summer grilling recipe using seasonal foods. Fast and Easy summer recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken thighs
- 3 Hard peaches
- 1 Red onion
- 1 tbsp Dad's All Purpose rub
Sweet Bourbon Glaze ingredients
- 1 cup Whiskey or Bourbon of choice
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dad's All Purpose rub
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add whiskey or bourbon of choice, honey, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce and Dad's All Purpose rub. Whisk the ingredients together.
- Bring the contents to a boil and then let it simmer over low heat while the sauce thickens up.
- Cut the chicken thighs into 1 inch cubes and season with Dad's All Purpose rub.
- Next cube up a few peaches, red onion and skewer all the ingredients.
- Set the grill to high direct heat at 450 degrees and place the chicken and peach skewers on the grill.
- Flip every minute for a total of 10 minutes or until the meat reaches 175 degrees internal temp.
- Before serving, brush the skewers with the sweet whiskey sauce and leave them on the grill for another minute allowing the sauce to caramelize over the chicken and peaches.
