Candied Bacon
They say everything is better with bacon! How about some candied bacon strips for that sweet and savory craving.

Ingredients

Strips of thick cut bacon

Brown sugar

tbsp
BBQ rub

tbsp
Crushed red peppers
Instructions
On a sheet pan, pour brown sugar, your choice ofBBQ rub and some crushed red pepper.
Mix all 3 ingredients together and evenly spread throughout the pan.
take individual strips of bacon and generously cover with the sugar blend. Make sure to coat every little inch of that strip.
After coating, place each strip on a wire rack.
Set up the grill for indirect heat and raise the temperature to 350 degrees
Place the wire rack with the bacon on top of the grate and let it grill for 20 to 25 minutes.
Once the sugar is melted and the bacon is crips, remove from the grill. Allow the candied bacon to rest for 5 minutes to allow the sugar to harden.
