Coat the chicken breast in olive oil for the binder and season with Dad's All Purpose rub.
Preheat the grill to 400 degrees and set it for direct heat. Flip the chicken every 3-4 minutes until the it reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
To cook pasta, bring water to a boil, add salt and throw in full pasta strips. Cook for 13-15minutes until they are al dente in texture then drain.
In a skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Add chicken broth and heavy cream. Whisk continuously to prevent the sauce from burning and clumping.
Next, add in grated parmesan cheese, chopped sun dried tomatoes, Italian herbs and Dad's All Purpose rub. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce.
Notes
Grill the chicken to 160 degrees internal temperature and rest if for 10 minutes. The chicken will come to the correct temp of 165 degrees and will be tender and juicy inside.Do not overcook pasta. Make sure it's slightly al dente.
