In a mixing bowl, add soy sauce, sesame oil, corn starch and baking soda. Whisk it all together and set aside while you prep the beef.
Slice the flank steak into long strips against the grain. Next cut the strips into smaller pieces along the grain. Mix them in the marinade and let the meat soak in.
Marinate for at least 1 hour. This is the perfect part to prep the night before, let the beef marinate in the fridge overnight.
Cook Beef and Broccoli Instructions
Before getting the griddle going, make the beef sauce. In a mixing bowl, add beef broth, oyster sauce and corn starch. Mix it all together and set aside.
Set the griddle to 400 degrees. Add some minced garlic to the flat top and drop in the marinated flank steak. Flip the meat continuously as it cooks.
Once you have a sear on both sides of the steak, add in the broccoli and continue flip.
Add in the beef sauce, continue flipping until the sauce thickens and covers the beef and broccoli cuts.
